In today’s hyper-activated world, life can often present us with multiple triggers—whether from social stress, personal challenges, or an overwhelming collective energy—that leave us navigating waves of difficult emotions. While we can't always control life's upsetting events, we can take charge of how our bodies respond to them. Somatic nervous system regulation provides us with the tools to interrupt the body's automatic stress responses, breaking the cycle of fight, flight, or freeze. By working with the body, we can release the emotional charge of these experiences and return to a state of balance, resilience, and calm—even amidst life’s chaos. 

 

Our emotional responses to distressing events manifest physically in a variety of ways like increased heart-rate, shallow breathing, or cold knots in the stomach, among others. Hormones like adrenaline and cortisol flood our systems, leaving us restless, sleepless, and on edge. Over time, this chronic activation can lead to brain fog, irritability, and exhaustion, as our bodies struggle to carry the weight of unresolved stress. Recognizing these signs is the first step to reclaiming balance and restoring calm to both body and mind.

For over 20 years, I've been working with the moving body to unlock authentic well-being.  As a dance and wellness teacher and movement coach to thousands of people of all ages, over the years I discovered that the moving body holds crucial keys to our mental health.

 

I certified as a Neurofit Somatic Nervous System Regulation Coach in order to focus on helping people activate their innate power to shift from stress and overwhelm into more grounded, balanced states of being.

 

NEUROSHIFT emerged when I synthesized Neurofit's neuroscienced-backed techniques with my somatic repertoire of grounding, centering and releasing practices. The amazing results I've seen in myself and my clients are so easy to achieve with just 5 -15 minutes a day. Our bodies hold the key!
